For three relentless days, Typhoon Sinlaku battered the island of Saipan, unleashing fierce winds and torrential rains that tore through the heart of its communities. Beautiful homes that once stood proudly along the coast were ripped apart, roofs scattered and walls shattered under the storm’s force. Streets turned into rivers, trees were uprooted, and the island’s peaceful landscape was transformed into a scene of devastation. Yet even in the aftermath, amid the broken structures and debris, the spirit of Saipan’s people endured holding on to hope as they begin the long journey to rebuild what the storm tried to take away.
This video isn’t about seeking donations or relief for myself. It’s a glimpse of the pain, the devastation, and the reality our community is facing after the typhoon. If help is given, let it reach the people who need it the most, the families who lost everything, the ones still struggling to rebuild, the ones with nowhere to go. This is for awareness, for truth, and for the moments that remind us how fragile everything can be.
