VACANCY: for the post of historical re-enactor at the Saluting Battery in Valletta and Fort Rinella in Kalkara on full and part-time basis. Job includes the firing of the noonday and evening guns at the Saluting Battery. Uniforms and training will be provided. Good remuneration offered. Age: from 16 to 65 years. FUND RAISING: Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna is pleased to offer a limited number of 750ml and 1 litre bottles for sale of its own organic olive oil produced from this year's harvest of the olive trees at the Fort Rinella Nature and Heritage Park in Kalkara. These are available at the Saluting Battery in Valletta, the Malta at War Museum in Vittoriosa and the Notre Dame Gate at Vittoriosa at the following prices: €28 - 750ml glass bottle and €35 - 1 litre glass bottle.
