On this blessed Pentecost Sunday, we reflect on the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles - a moment of divine grace, hope, and renewal. β¨
Within the sacred beauty of the Mosta Rotunda, at the main altar, the top part is dominated by the spacious apse containing a painting by Giuseppe Calì (1880). It depicts a scene of Heaven in an artistic concept connected to the titular painting beneath it. The central group is composed of the Holy Trinity - from the left, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father, accompanied by a host of angels.
This magnificent painting reminds us of the eternal presence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit guiding the faithful through every generation.
May this day fill every heart with peace, faith, and the light of the Holy Spirit. π₯ποΈ
