Meet Aval 👋🏼
Aval was one of the first guide dogs to be donated by the Malta Guide Dogs Foundation.
Thanks to his excellent training at a guide dog school in Italy, he gave his owner full independence and even accompanied him to work on public transport.
Although he is no longer with us, Aval lived a fulfilled life alongside his handler ❤

Meet Zara 👋
Zara is paired with a person who is visually impaired.
She was born in Australia and trained by a Maltese Guide Dog and Mobility Instructor. She learned some pretty advanced skills such as: turning left or right on command, performing advanced obedience exercises and stopping at street crossings.
Zara and her handler have become a harmonious unit while travelling together and regularly use public transport.

The Malta Guide Dogs Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation whose aim is to offer services for Visually Impaired Persons, has a new home on Facebook.
Today we are happy to introduce our new brand identity. A fresher look with a more contemporary feel, following much research, especially into font character, which aims to convey more clarity on the look and feel of the NGO.
