The Surfski Shack

Curious about canoeing? Our beginner sessions are designed for those who want to experience the thrill of the sport in a safe, supportive environment.

You’ll be led by an experienced paddler who will show you the ropes, and guide you through the basics of handling a boat.

- When: every Wednesday
- Times: 17:30 - 19:30 (incl. orientation, boat setup, and 1 hour paddle).
- What to Bring: gym clothes, water, sun protection (hat and sunscreen), and a change of clothes for after the session.
- Facilities & Gear: we provide all the essentials: a boat, paddle (with leash), and Personal Flotation Device (PFD). After your session, feel free to use the club showers (bring a towel and toiletries)
