Dark Chocolate

Chocolate really does have the feel-good factor. Good-quaity dark chocolate, with 70 per cent cocoa solid or higher, increases serotonin levels un the brain, wich releases endorphins, the chemicals that genuinely do lift your mood. That doesn't mean that you need to gorge on the stuff, though a few squares nibbled with a caffeine-free tea or decaffeinated coffe can do wonders. Eat too much and high sugar and fat levels will delay you getting back your pre-birth figure. Chocolate is high in caffeine, so it's probably best not to eat it just before bed or if you are about to sn**ch a rest while your baby sleeps.
