My client was sitting on a goldmine of sales and didn't realise it.
With so much effort going into marketing and finding new customers my client forgot that she had a goldmine of potential sales from her previous customers.
She was very customer focused and gave lots of attention to the customers that contacted her about purchasing items from her website. She helped them select, told them if she had it in a different colour and even advised them if she thought another item maybe better. It provided a real sense of satisfaction for her and the customer. Once this sale was over she would shift her focus back to the next customer or use more advertising to bring in new customers. We realised that the great relationship that had developed over the sale ended too soon, so we implemented a process so that it could keep going.
She had a genuine connection with her customers and she loved being able to build relationships with them. She was proud that her customers felt valued rather than feeling like just another transaction.
The repeat orders were her favourite kind of orders, the same customers were shopping the website again and again. They were also recommending their friends to use the website, so the new customers were already loyal customers.
