About Us
Humanity First has been established in Mauritius since 2010. HF Mauritius has already provided support to global disasters such as the Haiti earthquake and the Pakistan floods, and some of our team are also assisting projects in French-speaking countries in West Africa. Many ex-pat Mauritians are serving HF in senior positions in the UK and across Europe.
Humanity First is an international charitable trust established to promote and safeguard the preservation of human life and dignity. It is a non-political, non-sectarian international relief and development agency that works with the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people.
Humanity First was established in the UK in 1994 and now has operations in 43 countries across 6 continents. The majority of our aid workers and management are unpaid volunteers and our administration expenses are negligible. We are able to deliver significantly more aid value in the field from the funds we raise because our labour costs are very low.
