As many as 91.7% of incidents of political violence that occurred after 5 August are linked to the BNP, according to a study by Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB).

The study, released today (2 February), also found the involvement of the Awami League in 20.7% of incidents, Jamaat-e-Islami in 7.7%, and the National Citizen Party (NCP) in 1.2%.
