Goalkeepers are celebrated for keeping the ball out of the net, but Ibrahim Anoof Mohamed produced something truly extraordinary in one of the biggest matches of the Hinnavaru Gandiya Futsal Challenge 2026.

In FC MACAW’s semi-final against H&M, Anoof transformed defence into attack in a matter of seconds. After collecting the ball inside his own penalty area, he spotted an opportunity and unleashed a perfectly struck effort that travelled the entire length of the court before finding the back of the net.

The sensational strike made Anoof one of only two goalkeepers to score in this year’s tournament, alongside Hauzan Hassan of Hinnavaru TNT, who produced a similar long-range finish during the group stage.

Moments like these showcase the modern goalkeeper’s influence beyond the penalty area. Two remarkable goals, scored from one end of the court to the other, will undoubtedly remain among the most unforgettable highlights of the tournament.
