How to start building your house

Are you planning to build your home but not sure where to start?
At INOCA, we have guided many clients through this process, and we are happy to explain the basic steps free of charge.
Simple checklist to start your house design:

1. Get a quotation from an architect- we will help to get a quote.
2. Review the design fee and agree on the terms.
3. Meet the architect and explain your requirements, including number of rooms, layout, budget, and any special needs.
4. Architect prepares the concept design.
5. Client reviews the concept and gives comments.
6. Once the concept is approved, the architect starts the detailed design.
7. Final drawings are submitted to HDC for approval.
8. Once HDC approval is received, the contractor can study the drawings and provide a proper construction quotation.

If you own land and want to build, INOCA can help you understand the process and guide you on the next steps. We will not charge anything for this.

Safety doesn’t stop when the building gets smaller.

At every stage of demolition, we remove safety measures only when it is safe to do so.
