End-of-Year Reflection | Equal Future Initiative

As we come to the end of this year, we would like to take a moment to sincerely appreciate the commitment, effort, and support shown by our members, partners, and everyone who believes in the vision of the Equal Future Initiative.

This year has been a foundational year for our initiative. We successfully built a dedicated team, established our presence and gained recognition from different stakeholders including engagement with the District Youth Office. Despite the challenges we faced, we managed to carry out meaningful activities, such as our engagement with students at Stella Maris Secondary School, where we encouraged young people to believe in themselves, work together and value education.

It has not been an easy year. It has been a year of learning, reflection, and growth. As an initiative, we came to understand the great responsibility that comes with advocating for inclusion, empowerment and equality. More importantly, we realized that the need for Equal Future Initiative is greater than we initially expected our communities need spaces that speak to both girls and boys, their challenges, their mental well-being, and their future.

As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with renewed commitment and purpose. We have planned activities, stronger collaborations and a clearer direction. We are determined to be consistent, visible and impactfu turning ideas into action and values into change.

Equal Future Initiative is here to stay.
And if you believe in inclusion, empowerment and shared responsibility then you are already part of the change.
