Last week,on Thursday, October 23rd, 2026, we had the privilege of hosting a transformative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity at MUBAS. Organized by the Management Development Centre in conjunction with the School of Business and Economic Sciences (SOBES), the event focused on empowering local women entrepreneurs from Machinjiri.

We were thrilled to train a group of about 40 amazing women who run small businesses, equipping them with essential financial literacy skills to scale their ventures.

The event was graced by the presence of the Executive Dean of SOBES; Dr. Hanif, whose unwavering support for community initiatives and women's empowerment was a great inspiration to all.

A special thank you to our brilliant trainers:
Dr. Ella Kangaude, who inspired the participants with innovative business ideas and strategies. And Mr. Paul Nthara, who delved deep into the principles of financial literacy, providing them with the tools for sustainable growth.
