Today, Center for Community Health, Research, and Youth Development (CHeR-YoD), in collaboration with SRHR Africa Trust (SAT) and Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA), hosted a workshop focused on co-creating cyberbullying awareness messages.

This initiative aims to develop context-specific, student-driven messages and materials that will be shared across higher education institutions. The goal is to foster safer online environments, safeguard students’ mental health, and promote their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

The training focused on practical sessions in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) service delivery, with a strong emphasis on youth involvement. Youth involvement in SRHR service delivery!!!

Today marks day 3 of 5 of refresher training for our peer educators at Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST). The sessions have been interactive and insightful, equipping the peer educators with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), HIV prevention, and psychosocial support.

Today, our team, in collaboration with Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Ministry of Health, held a data evaluation meeting with peer educators and clinic staff from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the peer educator program at MUBAS.

Ensuring that young people have access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services and information is essential. Meaningful youth integration in SRHR service delivery remains a key priority.

The meeting was organized by our organization in collaboration with EGPAF and the Zomba District Health Office.
