Let Love Reign
Matthew 22:37-39
New International Version
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

1. Why must you love your neighbor just like yourself?
2. How does love for people reflect God's love?
3. Can you analyze the statement, "your friend's enemy is your enemy too?
We must understand that you cannot give what you do not have. This verse implies that you must first accept God's unconditional love for you, which allows you to love yourself wholesomely. Only then can that same divine love overflow out of you toward other people.

This commandment teaches that we are all spiritually interconnected. When you help someone else, you heal a piece of the world; when you hurt someone else, you hurt yourself.

LET LOVE REIGN!
