A literary, feminist, Arab-centric graphic novel? Sign me up!! Shubeik Lubeik is a fairytale rhyme that means “Your wish is my command” in Arabic - and this graphic novel follows three characters navigating a world where wishes are literally for sale.

I’m so excited to begin reading this, and equally as excited as an Arab myself to read more Arab literature! Also thrilled that my public library had this to borrow!
