Did you know that human trafficking still occurs in every region of the world? It's estimated that 24.9 million people are victims of forced labor, and girls and women are disproportionately affected. These staggering facts make today, , all the more critical to recognize.

Our work at helps to mitigate human trafficking by empowering fishers, farmers and workers to make choices for the good of themselves and their community. We consistently deliver on many of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals ( ), including two that speak to human trafficking:

SDG 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
SDG 8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all
