🔥Elder Akewi is a poet, artist, and creative healer. They experience life as a Black, q***r, transracial adoptee, and survivor of childhood/sexual violence. Elder runs workshops designed to allow participants to connect with themselves, each other, and the world around them through writing, art, and creative embodied expression.

Love love love that relative or friend, yet seem unable to shake a piece of grief attached to them? Curious about where your flavor of love comes from? Let's do some exploring! allow your hand to be your guide as we scribe out some answers in this Familial Love workshop!

Join us as we explore familial love (found and otherwise), Grief, and connection, through somatics and creative exploration. Grab your lunch and sit with us for a three weeks of somatics, prompts, and community. We look forward to seeing you!
