🇨🇦 ʜᴀᴘᴘʏ ᴄᴀɴᴀᴅᴀ ᴅᴀʏ 🇨🇦

We're just back from incredible week in La Ventana and the Sea of Cortez, Mexico. Spending our days on the water in true "safari mode" much like it sounds, an ocean safari resembles a land based safari except, (you guessed it), you're spending time searching for marine life via boat. 👀 Small groups per boat offer us more in the water time, ample room to move around to spot marine life, and even catch the occasional catnap after a snorkel. We can't thank our local and certified guides , , and for their knowledge, eagle eye spotting (along with our captains), hours upon hours they spend in/on the sea, and for capturing tons of great photos/videos during our expedition!

Some of our marine life highlights this trip: Spine Tail Devil Rays(mobula mobular), Pygmy Devil Rays (mobula munkiana), Cownose Rays (Rhinoptera bonasus)
Bottlenose dolphins 🐬, Common dolphins 🐬, S***m whales 🐳
Sea lions 🦭, Diamond Squid 🦑, Octopus 🐙 Porcupine Fish (puffer fish) 🐡
Tons of birds: Cormorants, Brown Footed B***y, Yellow Footed B***y, Frigates, Vultures, Pelicans to name a few...

Our minds were blown to say the least! 🤯 Our home away from home, the beautiful and boutique hotel was a treat to return to everyday and nothing was too much trouble for the incredible staff. A huge thank you to everyone for truly unforgettable week! We can't wait to return next year!
