We’ve all felt how our skin is affected by extreme weather and lifestyle. It happens that when we are on vacation we usually overindulge with food and drinks, going to bed late, overexposure to sunlight, not exercising regularly, etc. Everything affects our skin, because when you combine internal and external factors that tend to reflect on our skin’s health. Here’s a rundown for these 7 easy tips that can help:

1- drinking enough water is key for hydrated skin from the inside out. Using hydrating serums which contain ingredients that retain moisture in the skin are equally important (such as Hialuronic Acid, Squalane, ceramides etc)
2- Antioxidants are key to protect cells from harmful substances such as free radicals and they can help boost your immune system. This slows down and prevents cells from premature aging.
3- Moisturize: hydration is NOT the same as moisturizing. Hydration refers to giving water to the skin; moisturizing is using certain agents that maintain skin’s softness, protects your skin barrier, and thus, prevents water from evaporating from the skin. Oily skinned people tend to stay away from moisturizers, worrying that it will make their skin more oily but that’s not the case if you find the right one for mixed to oily skin.
4- Exercise: helps pump blood all over your body which improves oxygen supply throughout your entire system! Helps diminish stress and helps eliminate toxins.
5- Eating Healthy will help your skin have better nourishment especially if you stay away from excess sugar and processed foods.
6- Rest is one of the most important things for overall health so get good quality of sleep so that your skin can regenerate and you can look and feel well rested.
7- Finally getting a deep cleansing and nourishing facial is a great way to start. Even if you use at home spa equipments or go to your preferred aesthetician.
