[SS15] HOW TO CARE FOR HAIR FOR WOMEN WEARING HIJAB.
Hi gurlies, so today we will share how to take care of hair for women who wear hijab.
1) Selection of Shampoo
- You can use shampoo as much as two or three days even once is enough. But you must know which shampoo suits your scalp because everyone has different problems.
2) Conditioner
- For conditioner, don't use it until it touches the scalp! Because it can make your hair greasy and dandruff. Conditioner can be used every day because it can soften the hair.
3) Use Hair Serum
- Even though we have washed, but serum is also necessary for our hair.
- You only apply it to the hair, no need to reach the scalp.
- Hair serum to give vitamins to make hair grow healthier.
4) Hair tonic
- If you have problems with hair loss, dandruff and so on. We recommend that you use it. -How to use this hair tonic, it can be used on the scalp only because its function is to strengthen the roots of the hair in addition to helping to grow hair
-Can be used when your hair is still wet or dry.
5) Hair Treatment
- For those of you who are diligent, you can try the scalp/hair treatment. But it is recommended to find a salon that fits your budget!
-Scalp treatment to reduce dandruff and hair loss. Meanwhile, hair treatment for reduce the problem of dry and tangled hair.
6) Extra tips
-Don't ever tie your hair too tightly (because it will damage your hair and cause migraines) -For those of you who wear a hijab, make sure not to tie your hair when your hair is still wet (it can cause a smell as well as itching on the head)
-Make sure you brush your hair while sitting (make it easy for you to just brush your hair, hehhe...)
-Always change the inner part of your hood (the hair will smell bad later)
-Wear a light fabric hijab (so that you feel comfortable when wearing a hijab)

[SS14] CONTINUATION OF SCRUNCHIE’S HISTORY
The early 2000s marked a downfall in the popularity of scrunchies. Carrie Bradshaw in an episode of S*x and the City mocked the fashion. This comment represented the decline in popularity of the scrunchie during this time period. The scrunchie became a faux pas in the sense that wearing it around was embarrassing. Many people believed that scrunchies should stay in the past.
Even after its downfall, the scrunchie still made a comeback. In the late 2010s it was seen all over runways and in the hair and on the wrists of celebrities. Famous women such as Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Selena Gomez have all been seen wearing them again. Famous singer Lizzo generated news when she wore a $100 scruchie with jewels on it backstage at MTV's Video Music Awards. It was featured in the popular Netflix original movie To All the Boys I've Loved Before as a symbol of power struggle between main character Lara Jean and her former BFF and the character Eleven on Stranger Things was seen wearing them in the third season of the show in 2019.

[SS12] WHAT ARE SCRUNCHIE FAMOUS DESIGN?
1. Silk Scrunchies
Silk scrunchies, like silk pillowcases, are thought to be the most gentle on strands. According to hairstylist Angelo David, owner of his eponymous salon, silk scrunchies reign supreme for their texture and versatility.
“Silk scrunchies can work well with a variety of hair types because of their smooth and soft texture,” he explains, touting the Blissy Silk Scrunchie as his top pick. Where silk scrunchies can help reduce frizz and retain moisture in curly hair, David says that they’re particularly great for dry and damaged hair, since they can help reduce friction and help prevent breakage.
2.Velvet Scrunchies
Velvet scrunchies are great for preventing hair from slipping out of the tie, and they are gentle on the hair,” says David. “They are also a popular choice for people with thick hair.” This is due to the fact that velvet is a heavier material and can slide right off of fine or thin hair
3.Silhouette Scrunchies
Scrunchie is a popular favorite for its chic, oversized chiffon silhouette. According to Rubenstein, this style looks great with all hair types, especially those with long lengths. The ultra-lightweight scrunchies add an air of elegance to any outfit, and since they’re so sheer, they work just as well on fine hair as they do thick.

[SS11] Lets get to know the history of scrunchies.
The Scrunchie was patented in 1987 by Rommy Revson. She created the first prototype of the Scrunchie because she wanted a gentler version of the metal hair ties used in the 1980s. Revson named the decorative hair accessory the Scunci after her pet toy poodle. The name Scrunchie was a natural evolution, because the fabric scrunched up. After patenting the Scrunchie, Revson spent most of her time in legal disputes, both with manufacturers and her own lawyers. Scrunchies were particularly popular in the 1980s and 1990s, including larger, more elaborate versions. Scrunchies regained popularity in the mid 2010s.

[SS9] CONTINUATION OF HOME REMEDIES FOR YOUR HAIR
3. Argan oil
Argan oil is rich in moisturizing agents, such as oleic acid and linoleic acid. It also contains antioxidants, such as vitamin E.
Many users of argan oil believe it has protective benefits for hair against heat, such as that generated by styling products or the sun. However, there’s no scientific evidence to support these claims.
To use argan oil to try to reduce frizz:
-Apply a few drops to wet hair before styling.
-Make sure to evenly distribute the oil throughout your hair, from scalp to tip. You can use a comb or brush to help disperse it from roots to tips, or comb it through your hair with your fingers.
-Be careful to only use a small amount of oil. If you overdo it, your hair may look or feel greasy.
-You can also use argan oil on dry hair between styling treatments.
4. Avocado
Avocado isn’t just a trendy toast topping. This superfruit is packed with nourishing ingredients, some of which may help strengthen your hair, like vitamins A and E.
It’s also packed with moisture, which can help hydrate your hair and tame frizz.
Try making this at-home avocado hair mask:
-Mash a ripe, medium-sized avocado.
-Mix with 2 to 4 tablespoons of coconut oil until you have a smooth, mask-like consistency. It shouldn’t be runny.
-Liberally apply the mask to your scalp and hair.
-Cover your hair with a plastic cap or towel.
-Leave the mask on for 20 to 30 minutes.
-Shampoo thoroughly to remove the mask.
5. Egg
Eggs are high in saturated fats, biotin, and vitamins. There isn’t much evidence that links eggs to a reduction in hair frizz, but some people believe an egg mask can make hair healthier, shinier, and frizz-free.
Don’t use this treatment if you’re allergic to eggs.
To make an egg mask for hair:
-Whip up two eggs until they’re frothy.
-Apply the egg mix to your hair and scalp.
-Cover your hair with a plastic cap.
-Leave the mask on for 15 minutes.
-Shampoo thoroughly.
-You can vary this treatment by combining one egg with coconut oil or with argan oil. Use the same way, once or twice a week.
