Responsibilities :

-Maintains information technology strategies by managing staff, researching, and implementing technological strategic solutions.
-Manage and develop IT staff, including training, evaluation, guidance, and discipline
-Ensure all system and network operation activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner
-Collaborate with internal IT teams to effectively deliver services to end-users
-Understand and communicate business strategy and develop application and technical infrastructure to support this strategy
-Oversee all software licenses are updated and kept safely
-Manage and ensure all system security measures are in place
-Manage data backup and restoration process
-Implementation and management of IT project
-Provide metrics and reports of IT system usage
-Troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving IT-related issues
-Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies
-Manage and monitor vendor's delivery and quality
-Manage annual IT budgets & monitor appropriate budgetary controls
-Manage daily SAP application maintenance and conduct a regular review to examine the overall efficiency.
-Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Required working experience: minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Manager. - Candidates with prior working experience in the CCTV industry would be highly considered.
-Salary will commensurate with working experience.

Required academic qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Management Information System / Network Engineering or related discipline.
Required language literacy: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Candidates with these Professional certifications would have an added advantage: Certified Network Security Specialist, Certified Web Application Security Specialist, Certified Information Security Consultant, Certified Professional Hacker, or Certified Professional Forensic Analyst.

Required/ Preferred skills:

Design, configuration, and management of IT network equipment – Routers, Switches, Firewall, VPN.
Windows application / web programming using .NET and MS SQL
MS-SQL/Oracle Database, LINUX and HP-UX knowledge
Advanced level in coding (C/Java/Javascript/Python or any other languages)
Knowledge on networking, Windows/Linux/UNIX/AS400 operating system security.
Experience in Server administration (Windows/Linux)
Broad knowledge of IT Security and control solutions including Firewall, Security Incident Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Anti-Virus, Compliance Monitoring Tools, Data Leakage Protection (DLP), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Web Proxy Gateway & File Integrity Management (FIM).
Strong software engineering skills in design, development, configuration management, testing, CI, deployment.
Possess strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
