Big shoutout to Mujtaba Amin! 🎓✨

We are throwing it back to the moment Mujtaba, from Kabul, Afghanistan, achieved a major breakthrough by successfully completing his Proposal Defense. He holds the distinction of being the first student in the Master of Business Management (by Research) programme at AIU to reach this pivotal milestone!

This achievement wouldn't be possible without the dedicated support of his supervisors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suraya Hanim Mukhtar and Madam Noorasyikin Binti Mohd Noh. Also, a special shoutout to Prof. Dr. Nor Azila Binti Mohd Noor from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) , who served as the External Examiner and shared her valuable insights during the session.

Mujtaba, you’re halfway there! The PGSA community is incredibly proud of your progress and we can't wait to see what’s next for your research journey. Keep inspiring us!

A historic milestone for our postgraduate community! 🎓 We are looking back at the moment Aminu Haliru Salame, a PhD candidate from the School of Education and Human Sciences (SEHS), officially became the first-ever doctoral candidate at Albukhary International University to complete a PhD Proposal Defense.

Aminu’s journey from Sokoto, Nigeria, to this pioneering achievement serves as an inspiration to all of us at the Centre for Graduate Studies (CGS). We celebrate his hard work and extend our deepest gratitude to his supervisors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tengku Shahrom and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bakare Kazeem Kayode, for their guidance in this research journey. A special note of appreciation is also extended to Associate Prof. Ts. Dr. Irwan Mahazir bin Ismail from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), who served as the external examiner. His critical insights and encouragement added great value to the discussion.

Success like this paves the way for all of us. Congratulations, Aminu—let’s keep this momentum going, fellow researchers! 🌟
