transcend: 300-hour yoga teacher training is designed to build your critical discernment capacity. instead of giving you more to remember, it trains how you think. you learn how to read bodies beyond surface alignment, how to adjust sequences without losing their purpose, how to progress or regress movements with clarity, and how to explain what you are doing and why. the focus is not on collecting techniques, but on understanding load, function, and structure so your teaching holds under pressure.
the curriculum integrates techniques, anatomy, philosophy, and practicum into one coherent system. you will move through 300 hours of practice and applied training, anatomy and physiology grounded in real movement, yoga humanities that inform modern teaching, teaching methodology, and practicum where you teach, receive feedback, and refine your approach. each component builds on the next so that learning is not fragmented, but cumulative.
led by jen o., ying h., and edward c.; this is a faculty known for precision, depth, and evidence-based teaching. the aim is simple: to help you move from guessing to knowing, from performing to understanding, and from following sequences to building them with intention. this is a certification; one that focuses on recalibration of how you practise, think, and teach.

this training focuses on the mechanics that create support. you will learn how wrist extension, scapular protraction, and trunk stiffness contribute to load-bearing, and how small shifts in centre of mass change the torque demands of each shape. instead of trying to push up, you will organise the system so lift becomes predictable.
the curriculum integrates upper limb anatomy, core coordination, and movement patterns into one system. progressions are based on capacity and control, not aesthetics. props are used to refine alignment and reduce unnecessary load, while contraindications are addressed to manage joint stress, particularly at the wrist and elbow. this is sthira and sukha; stability and ease. when structure is correct, effort reduces.

this training reframes backbends as coordinated extension. you will learn how thoracic mobility, hip extension, and shoulder flexion contribute to overall range, and how active muscular engagement redistributes load away from passive structures. instead of pushing deeper, you will create space through better organisation.
the curriculum covers spinal load management, joint contribution, and the difference between active and passive range. progressions are structured to build tissue capacity over time, supported by props that modify joint angles and reduce strain. contraindications are addressed to account for structural variability. this is ahiαΉsΔ (non-harm).depth is not pursued at the expense of integrity.
