Georgetown, 08 June 2026 - Digital Penang recently paid a courtesy visit to Saichuang Weilai Southeast Asia Innovation Center (SCWL) at SPICE Penang for a productive exchange on innovation ecosystem development and potential areas of collaboration.

During the visit, we were introduced to SCWL's mission, programmes, and extensive innovation network spanning China and other international markets. The exchange provided valuable insights into how both organisations can work together to strengthen innovation connectivity and create greater opportunities for technology companies, startups, and industry stakeholders.

Discussions also explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration between Penang's innovation ecosystem and companies from China, fostering greater industry connectivity, business partnerships, knowledge exchange, and cross-border innovation development.
