Here are some fun facts:

- 4000 bottles are produced per year with a reputation of being able to easily age for decades

- the single vineyard is ideally located on Kimeridgian limestone dating back to the Jurassic, with only 1 hectare of 40-year-old Sauvignon Blanc vines

- wine is vinified and aged in old neutral oak barrels, racked just once, and is bottled without fining or filtration, bottled only in magnum format

- this is the most sought after wine of the Sancerre appellation and unfortunately few will ever see, for many the epitome of what a Sancerre can be
