Together We Re-Invent the Insurance Industry

Being in the insurance industry for 16 years, I’ve come to understand some basic practices, which I can never agreed upon. These commonly accepted practices or performances have somewhat form a negative impression and is the reason why insurance agents are having a hard time to achieve good results, despite sincerely working hard aiming to achieve good results. The practices and performances standard are:

LIMRA reportedly a standard closing ratio of 10:1. Meaning you have to prospect 10 person to close 1 case.

Insurance companies (some) have started to create very innovative “products”, which ultimately harms the clients more than help. (please check from the consumer perspective, not as an insurance person)

The general practices of selling insurance as a product is one-perspective planning without ever considering the real need of the customers.
