Nakawan Explorer is rooted in a simple mission: to share our passion for biodiversity with more youth across Malaysia, and to make biodiversity appreciation a mainstream norm—where observing and learning from nature becomes part of who we (human) are again.

Throwing it back to our programme in September 2025, we’re revisiting what it means to be a citizen scientist, and the basic skills you can master to better appreciate the natural world.

Since 2023, we’ve been incredibly grateful to our project partners, local communities, and champions in Perlis for trusting us and giving us the space at Nakawan Range to share our passion for biodiversity and nature exploration.
