Do you know that many babies from low income families or Orang Asli newborns leave the hospital without proper blankets? Without sufficient warmth, this may result in neonatal hypothermia which is when the body temperature falls below 36.5°C.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Neonatal hypothermia may lead to life-threatening complications such as respiratory distress, infections, impaired cardiac functions and others.

With your help, you may save a baby’s life by donating a minimum of only RM20 per blanket.

By the end of this donation, we aim to collect 2,000 baby blankets which will then be distributed to mainly various Orang Asli settlements and other low-cost housing areas including Cameron Highlands, Seremban and Sg. Siput Perak.
