📖 Sermon Recap — John 11:17–44

Jesus declared, “I am the resurrection and the life.” In every situation that feels hopeless, He reminds us that He is still able to bring life, hope, and restoration.

The question is: Who is Jesus to us? As we place our trust in Him, He calls us out of spiritual complacency and into a life fully alive in Him. 🙌

Tonight, we were reminded of the constant battle between our sinful nature and the divine nature God has placed within us. What we feed will shape our desires, appetites, and passions.

Galatians 2:20 reminds us that we have been crucified with Christ, and our lives now belong to Him. We no longer live for ourselves, but by faith in the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us.

As followers of Christ, our focus is on things above — no turning back, no longer driven by earthly ambitions, but fully surrendered to God’s purpose 🙌

☀️ FAMILY CAMP DAY 3 MORNING RECAP

Offense is not meant to be held onto. Proverbs 17:9 reminds us that “love prospers when a fault is forgiven.” Forgiveness is a choice — a deliberate decision to release hurt instead of keeping score.

In Matthew 18:21–22, Jesus teaches us to forgive without limit. Rather than carrying the burden of offense, we are called to surrender it to God, allowing Him to heal our hearts and restore us through His grace 🙌

There is a cost to following Jesus and discipleship.

“And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.”

📖 Jesus is our Good Shepherd—He knows us, stays with us, and gave His life for us. We’re not just part of a crowd, we belong to Him.
