At GDRN, we believe disaster response must go beyond immediate relief — it must strengthen the systems that help communities recover and rebuild with resilience.
At the Resilient Asia Exposition & Forum 2026 last week, YM Raja Nor Dianna Raja Harun of Yayasan Hasanah, YBhg Datin Noorul Syifa Mohd Isa of Yayasan TM, and YM Tengku Noraida Tengku Mahmood of Yayasan PETRONAS represented GDRN alongside Mr Mohd Jamil bin Muda of HALUAN and Mr Abdul Aziz Mohamad Zabidin of NADMA for a panel discussion on “From Relief to Resilience: Strengthening Malaysia’s Disaster Response Ecosystem”.
The discussion underscored a shared commitment to stronger coordination between philanthropy, government and civil society in building a more responsive and resilient disaster management ecosystem for Malaysia.
