An arts festival is a complex and large-scale creative undertaking.
Behind The Storyteller: Oi-Jia were countless discussions, confirmations, and arrangements happening quietly behind the scenes.

The Storyteller: Oi-jia

A grandmother. A grandaughter. A story that doesn’t belong to just one of them.

In this conversation, Wong Lay Chin and MayJune reflect on Oi-Jia - a work that traces what we inherit, what we question, and what we choose to carry forward.

Between memory and responsibility, the lines begin to blur. And somewhere in that blur, a self is formed - fragile, unfinished, and deeply human.
