据 PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd 首席执行官 Tengku Datuk Ab Aziz Tengku Mahmud说，默迪卡118大楼（Merdeka 118）的出租率已接近70%。
周二（8月29日），他在带领媒体参观这座世界第二高楼（678.9米）时表示，国民投资机构（PNB）将在年底前搬进来，租用其中17层。
“马银行（MAYBANK，1155，主板金融股）已租用33层，将与其他租户在之后的12个月内搬进来。”
Merdeka 118大厦的8至96层为高级A级办公楼，以及吉隆坡柏悦酒店（Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur）则拿下97至112层。观景台则则位于115层和116层，会议中心位于117层，多功能活动空间位于118层。
该大厦是“Merdeka 118”开发项目的一部分，该项目还包括默迪卡体育场、国家体育场、118购物中心、两座住宅楼、一座服务式公寓、Little M （PNB托儿中心）、默迪卡清真寺、Merdeka Boulevard （一个四英亩的公共线性公园）和默迪卡纺织博物馆，以及8000多个停车位。
Merdeka 118大厦拥有东南亚最高的观景台，净可出租面积约为170万平方英尺，目前已完成97.8%。
他补充说，PNB Merdeka Ventures 将于明年开始建造两座公寓——65层的Merdeka Residences East Tower和63层的Merdeka Residences West Tower ——以及服务式公寓Oakwood Premier，计划于2027年完工。
