Day 2 of the Islamic Financial Advisory & Planning programme at ILIM Kampus Utama Bangi continued successfully today with insightful sessions delivered by Puan Norwani Naim.

Participants remained highly engaged and attentive throughout the sessions, particularly on topics related to cash flow & liability management, Islamic investment planning, as well as risk management and takaful planning. The active participation and strong interest shown by attendees reflected the importance and relevance of Islamic financial literacy in today’s environment.

A meaningful day filled with interactive discussions, practical sharing, and valuable learning experiences for all participants.

Looking forward to the final session tomorrow as the programme continues to strengthen understanding in Islamic financial advisory and planning.

CIIF was pleased to participate in ICAN WEEK 5.0 organised by the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA, held at the UiTM Puncak Alam Campus on 15 May 2026.

The sharing session titled “Islamic Finance Beyond the Textbook: Industry Realities, Digital Banking and Future Skills” was delivered by Ms. Amilia Nur Basir Ahmad, active Fellow Member and former Grand Council member of CIIF.

The session provided students with practical industry perspectives on:
• The realities of Islamic finance beyond academic theory
• Digital Islamic banking ecosystems
• AI applications in banking operations and compliance
• Governance, Shariah and risk management challenges
• Future-ready skills required in the evolving financial industry

The programme also included an opening session by Mr. Zaharin Md Jahim, introducing CIIF and its membership pathways to students interested in pursuing professional development in Islamic finance.
