Position: QA cm Halal Executive
Industry: Food Manufacturing

📌 Job responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with HALAL & ISO standards, regulations and certifications.
2. Support the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety & Quality Management System in accordance with relevant standards.
3. Manage quality assurance activities for raw materials, in-process controls and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory and customer requirements.
4. Ensure incoming materials meet quality and food safety standards before release for production use.
5. Monitor daily production activities to ensure products meet quality specifications and process control requirements.
6. Investigate food safety and quality issues, including supplier-related non-conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions with internal teams and suppliers.
7. Analyse and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines.
8. Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Procurement and Warehouse teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall performance.
9. Conduct internal audits, GMP inspections and plant reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
10. Train staff on quality assurance standards and best practices.
11. To perform Halal tasks assigned from time to time by direct superior.

📝 Requirements

1. Candidates must possess a Diploma/ Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 1year relevant working experience in the food industry.
3. Well-versed with HACCP, GMP, Halal, ISO and other food related regulations.
4. Halal Executive Certificate is preferred.
5. Independent, strong self-disciplined, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills.

The role is responsible for developing QA policies and SOPs, monitoring production processes, conducting inspections and audits, maintaining Halal and QC documentation, training staff, and supporting compliance with Halal JAKIM, HACCP, GMP, and MESTI requirements. Candidates should have a relevant degree, food industry QC experience, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Vacancy : Internal Halal Auditor
Mixue Malaysia Sdn Bhd

Job Responsibilities:
1. Plan and conduct internal Halal audits at outlet & warehouse.
2. ⁠Check ingredients, raw materials, and suppliers to ensure all are Halal-certified and valid.
3. ⁠Inspect food handling, preparation, storage, and serving areas for cross-contamination risks. Verify equipment, utensils, and cleaning materials
4. ⁠Prepare internal audit reports and submit them to the Halal Committee / Halal Executive.
5. ⁠Record non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions are taken by relevant departments.
6. ⁠Keep all Halal certification documents, forms, and evidence ready for JAKIM / State Halal authority inspections.
7. ⁠Keep the non-conformities finding in proper statistically data
8. Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the Halal Assurance System within the premise
9. ⁠Conduct Halal awareness briefings and refresher training for outlet staff
10. Identify improvement opportunities to enhance Halal control points in daily operations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Halal compliance, certification, or quality assurance in F&B or manufacturing.
• Familiar with MS 1500:2019 Halal Food – Production, Preparation, Handling and Storage.
• Understanding of JAKIM Halal certification process and requirements.
• Certified Halal Executive by PLH JAKIM.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
