2025.09.13-16 MCRD Rakit Project

From September 13 to 16, MCRD carried out the Rakit Project in Kelantan for the residents of Pasir Mas, sponsoring 10 floating rafts. These rafts are intended to help the community safeguard their valuable belongings during floods and minimize potential losses.

A total of 10 volunteers joined the mission, including the youngest participant—a 12-year-old boy who came along with his parents. Hoping to give him a meaningful holiday experience, the family of three signed up together for this project.

Excluding the traveling time on the first and last day, the volunteers only had two full days to build. Within this short span, they worked side by side with the locals and managed to complete three and a half rafts, leaving the remaining ones for the residents to finish on their own. During this time, the villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the MCRD volunteers, as the project not only provided practical support but also allowed them to feel the warmth and care from friends of different communities.
