[Merchant MY News] Shopee offers 60,000 SMEs benefits up to RM3,000 each via the eCommerce onboarding programme!

The initiative under Belanjawan 2021 aims to encourage the adoption of e-commerce as a trade channel amongst local SMEs and Malaysian citizens who wish to venture into entrepreneurship.

Shopee is also co-funding this initiative Ringgit-to-Ringgit in partnership with the Ministry of Finance and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

There are two packages that sellers stand to benefit from:

Existing Shopee sellers (Registered before 1 July 2021)
- RM2,500 in Shopee Store Coins Cashback Vouchers
- Up to RM500 in service fee rebates

New Shopee sellers (Registered from 1 July 2021 onwards)
- RM1,500 in Shopee Store Coins Cashback Vouchers
- Up to RM1,500 in service fee rebates

Suspension of Lazada Listing APIs during 11.11 Campaign (11-NOV-2019)

Lazada biggest Mega Campaign 11.11 is coming very soon.

To ensure smooth and consistent shopping experience of our consumers and sellers, Lazada will restrict the access to some of the services on their platform during the campaign days, and lock the products prices for campaign products.

Schedule: 10.11.2019 (00:00:00) – 11.11.2019 (23:59:59)

Seller Center APIs functions impacted are as follows:
RemoveProduct
CreateGlobalProduct
CreateProduct
UpdateProduct
MigrateImage
MigrateImages
SetImages
UploadImage

However, these API functions still available:
Update Price Quantity**
Get* (all Get APIs)

**Will not be applicable for products under campaign price and product update lock down.
