Ramadan is a time of reflection, compassion, and giving.

Through the Badan Kebajikan Islam BASF PETRONAS Chemicals (BAKIB) and Human Resource Management & Admin Division, our colleagues came together to share dates, support the local community with essential contributions, and deepen understanding of Ramadan through ceramah sessions.

The team also extended appreciation to Gebeng firefighters and police personnel by distributing iftar meals — honouring those who serve tirelessly.

With the launch of Citronellol rPCF, manufactured at the BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Kuantan Verbund Site, we are enabling customers to reduce their Scope 3 emissions beyond their own operations.

Citronellol rPCF launch is beyond ordinary, as every unit of Citronellol rPCF employs a 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 in its production at BASF PETRONS Chemicals: A specified share of conventional raw material or conventional utilities is replaced by the respective raw material or utilities with a reduced PCF. This share is attributed to the rPCF product and reduces its carbon footprint accordingly.
