MMA Bintulu Subcommittee Webinar Report

The MMA Bintulu Subcommittee successfully conducted the 3rd Kenyalang Series Webinar, “Mimickers in Dermatology: Common Rashes with Uncommon Behaviour,” presented by Dr Ingrid Ting Pao Lin on 27.5.26 evening.

The webinar attracted approximately 25 participants and featured insightful discussions based on real-life clinical case scenarios, making the session both practical and highly relevant to everyday medical practice. Participants were actively engaged throughout the session, with numerous questions raised during the interactive Q&A segment.

Overall, the webinar was well received and provided valuable learning opportunities for attendees, reinforcing MMA’s commitment to continuous medical education.

MMA Sarawak and SPMPS had a meeting on 26.5.26, Tuesday morning with YB Datuk Gerawat Gala, Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Labour, Immigration and Project Monitoring).

Foreign workers medical screening issues faced by the private healthcare sector in Sarawak (especially by GPs) were highlighted and some proposed solutions were given.
