Multiple girders have been successfully installed in recent weeks as construction of the dedicated ART bridge across Sungai Kuap steadily progresses.

This ART bridge forms part of the Blue Line alignment of the KUTS Project.

Once completed, it will not only connect the two nearby ART stations — one near La Promenade Mall and the other at The NorthBank — to but will also serve as a key link within our new modern public transport system, connecting stations across Kuching and Kota Samarahan.

The stretch of road along Jalan Simpang Tiga, from the area near Swinburne University of Technology towards the turning to Jalan Batu Lintang, will be temporarily diverted for 2 nights, from 9 to 11 July 2026.
The diversion is for utilities relocation works, which will be carried out from 10:00pm, and scheduled to end at 5:00am the next morning.
Please follow all traffic management measures, road signages and speed limits when driving in this area.
