MIRI — Telang Usan assemblyman Dato Dennis Ngau calls upon the exco members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) of the constituency to give their full commitment and be prepared for the coming state election.

Dennis, who is PBB Telang Usan chairman, highlighted the crucial role of the GPS’s component party in defending the seat and bringing continuous development for the constituency.

“This is in line with PBB Telang Usan’s vision and mission to bring progress to the area and secure the wellbeing of the people there,” he said.

“From today until April next year, we must be prepared as state elections can be held anytime,” he told the party members at a New Year dinner gathering for the PBB Telang Usan Exco, Women, Youth and Belia wings of the 20252027 term, held at a hotel here yesterday.

Meanwhile, the event on Saturday night began with a prayer session for the new lineup of PBB Telang Usan office bearers, led by Pastor Jala Wan.

It was followed by a New Year’s cake-cutting ceremony and a presentation of special mementos to the former exco members in recognition of their meaningful contributions.

Among the attendees were the branch’s women chief Margarate Uding Nawan; youth chief Eric Andreas; Belia chief Spansky Steven; branch secretary Jarau Braim; and information chief Councillor Jok Eng Jok.
