Wildlife Photography in Bako National Park 📸 Some snippets of my photography adventure in Bako National Park! Two of the highlights were the Proboscis and Silvered Leaf Monkeys. I had an amazing wildlife experience, and this was all just a 90 mins flight from home. I would recommend a guide as they are well versed in locating the wildlife. ' BARBET '

While I couldn't find a definitive list of all Barbet species in Bako, the park is known for its rich bird diversity, with about 150 species recorded. Among the Barbets, the RED CROWNED BARBET and BORNEO BROWN BARBET are commonly mentioned.

Seed-eater, often spotted foraging on grass seeds, and it plays an essential role in balancing ecosystems by dispersing seeds. The Scaly-breasted Munia is also known for its delightful, soft chirps and tendency to travel in flocks. A common sight across much of Southeast Asia, including your region in Sarawak.
