Gawai is a special season for many travellers, not just celebrants. Today was the Majlis Sambutan Hari Gawai, where travellers to Kuching were personally welcomed with smiles and goodie bags at the arrival hall of Kuching International Airport.
The ceremony was organised in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026 and attended by YBrs. Tuan Morshidi Frederick (Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak), representing YB Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah (Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak).
