Donation from AJKK Annah Rais & the Committee of Kupo Tirakan to the family, late Pawing Anak Murung.

It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Pawing Anak Murung, a true legend . She was the first woman to teach generations the beauty and meaning of traditional dance, leaving behind a legacy that will forever inspire us.

Her dedication shaped our cultural identity, and her spirit will continue to live on through the rhythms and movements she shared. Though her departure was unexpected, we accept it as part of life’s journey, and we take comfort in knowing she rests peacefully with the Creator.

May we honor her memory by carrying forward the traditions she cherished and by celebrating the heritage she so passionately preserved.

We proudly announce that Annah Rais Cultural Village will be hosting a grand Harvest Festival together with Coca-Cola and Grab for two days. Various activities will be held such as food stalls, open house (Ngabang session), cultural performances, Dayung Sangun, treasure hunt, cultural parade, traditional musical instruments, live band, karaoke, lucky draw, and many more.

We would also like to inform you that there will be the longest Grab convoy in Malaysia. We warmly welcome everyone to come to Annah Rais Longhouse. Please spread the word to your family, relatives, and friends. Don’t forget to set your date, bring your camera for memories, and most importantly, wear traditional attire.

The second meeting with the residents of Annah Rais village for this year discussed several matters, including the upcoming Gawai Festival, the land surveying project for Annah Rais villagers, incentives for the residents, and many more. This meeting was a success with a larger turnout of villagers.
