𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

A lady🧕 had her life changed when she became totally blind in July last year. Also having several health issues, she lives with her husband and her elderly parents at Kampung Tabuan Lot. Hope Place Kuching went to pay a visit to her recently to understand more of her condition and gave her the much needed support.

A long term diabetic patient, her health took a toll when she was also diagnosed with kidney failure. Since last July, she has been having dialysis treatments. She has high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and a heart problem. She also had two of her toes amputated🦶 due to her uncontrollable diabetes.

She used to be a religious teacher👩‍🏫 at Kampung Muhibbah Seberang Pending, earning a reasonable income. Her husband works as a van driver, earning a minimum salary. The couple does not have any children.

The dialysis alone costs more than a thousand ringgit per month. Thankfully, her SOCSO is able to assists her in paying half the amount. Besides supporting the family with basic food aid, Hope Place also gave her a wheelchair to use📦💕👩‍🦽.

失明妇女由父母照顾

一名妇女🧕的人生在去年7月发生了巨大的改变，她因病导致双眼完全失明。由于同时患有多种健康问题，她目前与丈夫及父母住在Kampung Tabuan Lot。Hope Place Kuching前往探访她，了解其生活状况，并给予所需的援助与支持。

她长期患有糖尿病，健康状况逐渐恶化后，又被诊断患上肾衰竭。自去年7月起，她开始定期接受洗肾治疗。此外，她还患有高血压、高胆固醇及心脏疾病。由于糖尿病长期无法受到良好控制，她的两根脚趾也不得不被截肢🦶。

过去，她曾在Kampung Muhibbah Seberang Pending担任宗教教师👩‍🏫，拥有稳定的收入来源。她的丈夫则是一名客货车司机，仅领取基本薪资。夫妻俩没有孩子。

仅洗肾治疗一项，每月开销便超过一千令吉。所幸，她获得SOCSO（社会保险机构）的援助，减轻一半的洗肾费用。除了持续提供基本粮食援助外，Hope Place也赠送了一台轮椅给她使用，希望能减轻她日常生活上的不便📦💕👩‍🦽。

#献爱心

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗥𝗼𝘅𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗩𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱

Throughout the years, Hope Place Kuching has been blessed with countless contributions from generous individuals and organisations — ranging from dry food supplies and essential items to preloved household goods. Hope Place received a meaningful donation that brought comfort and joy to several underprivileged families: 34 flat-screen televisions from the Roxy Hotel Chain🏨.

Several of the televisions📺 have already been distributed by Hope Place to families struggling with hardship. For many of them, the gift represented more than just entertainment — it brought comfort during difficult times.

One recipient was a little girl👧 whose innocent smile lit up her modest living room when Hope Place volunteers installed a television in her home. Her father was recently diagnosed with bone tuberculosis, leaving her mother occupied full-time caring for him. The simple gift brought a rare moment of happiness to the little girl.

Another family touched by the donation was a widow raising three children after losing her husband to liver cancer earlier this year. Still grieving the painful loss, the family shared that they will be in mourning throughout the year🫶.

Hope Place plans to continue distributing the remaining televisions to more families in need. In addition, several units have also been sold through the Hope Place Kedai Bajet🛒 at affordable prices to low-income households, with proceeds channelled back into supporting community aid efforts.

“At Roxy Hotels, we believe true success is never measured solely by growth, but by the positive impact we create within our community,” said Mr Lee Managing Director of the hotel chain. “Donating these televisions reflects our commitment to giving back, and we hope it encourages others to do the same.”🥰💕

多年来，古晋希望之家非常荣幸地收到了无数热心人士和企业机构的慷慨捐助—从干粮、生活必需品到二手家居用品。古晋希望之家收到了一份极具意义的捐赠，为几个贫困家庭带来了慰藉与欢乐：来自Roxy 酒店集团🏨捐赠的34台平板电视机。

希望之家目前已经将部分电视机📺分发给了正在艰难渡过难关的家庭。对他们之中的许多家庭而言，这份礼物不仅代表着娱乐—它还在艰难时刻带来了慰藉。

其中一位受益者是一位小女孩👧。当“希望之家”的志愿者在她简陋的客厅里安装好电视机时，她纯真的笑容点亮了整个屋子。女孩的父亲最近被诊断出患有骨结核，导致母亲必须全职在家照顾他。这份简单的礼物为小女孩带来了久违的快乐。

另一个受到这份捐赠触动的家庭，是一位丈夫肝癌去世而独自抚养三个孩子的单亲妈妈。至今仍沉浸在丧亲之痛中的一家人表示，他们全家今年都将在哀悼中度过🫶。

希望之家计划继续将剩余的电视机分发给更多有需要的家庭。此外，其中几台电视机也已通过希望之家的平价商店（Kedai Bajet）🛒以可负担的价格出售给低收入家庭，所得收益将重新投入到支持社区援助工作中。

“在Roxy 酒店, 我们相信真正的成功绝不仅仅取决于业务的发展，更取决于我们为社区带来的积极影响，”该酒店集团董事总经理表示。“捐赠这些电视机反映了我们回馈社会的承诺，我们也希望这能鼓励更多人加入行善的行列。” 🥰💕

𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗢𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲

Hope Place Kuching received a visit from a lady👩 not long ago, requesting support for her sick husband and herself. Hope Place went to Arang Road and paid a visit to a man and his wife. Without any children, the couple is currently depending on welfare support.

He used to be a security guard, but three years ago, he had to quit because of his deteriorating health. He had his left leg amputated🦵 last year in June. He is also having heart and lung diseases. His wife is the sole caretaker and income provider. She works part-time for a catering business and only works when called.

With no transport of their own, they use e-hailing taxis to go to the hospital, which, according to them, they do about twice a week. Their expenses also include the rental of RM500 per month and medication. Thus, it is a blessing that he receives Baitumal financial aid and Jabatan Hal-Ehwal Military Fund. They are also trying to apply for the social welfare aid🫶.

Hope Place is supporting the couple with continuous basic food aid and adult diapers for him. Hope Place is grateful to donors who generously support underprivileged people📦💕🥫.

老夫妇依靠福利援助生活

希望之家接到一位女士👩的求助，希望能为其患病的丈夫以及自己争取一些生活援助。希望之家前往Arang Road探访了这对夫妇。无子，两口子的晚年生活，如今只能完全依靠社会福利和援助度日。

丈夫曾是一名保安，但因身体每况愈下，三年前离职。他饱受糖尿病折磨多年，更在去年六月不幸截肢失去了左腿🦵。他还同时患有心脏病与肺部疾病。妻子成了家里唯一的支柱与照顾者。她目前在一份餐饮兼职中打零工，只有在被通知需要人手时才有工可开。

因为家里没有交通工具，夫妻俩每周必须搭乘两次网约车往返医院看病。他们每个月还要负担500令吉的房租以及日常医药费。所幸的是，丈夫目前能领到伊斯兰教库的经济援助和军事事务部基金。他们目前也在积极申请社会福利局的援助金🫶。

希望之家正定期为这对夫妇提供基本食物援助以及给丈夫使用的成人纸尿裤。希望之家也由衷感谢社会各界善心人士的慷慨解囊，让像他们这样的弱势群体在困境中依然能感受到一丝温暖📦💕🥫。

Since 2019, Hope Place Kuching has been helping a bedridden old lady🛌 with multiple sicknesses, living at Kampung Sinjan, Petrajaya, together with her daughter. Recently, in April this year, sadly, the lady, she has passed away and left her daughter with a son.

The late mak cik used to be wheelchair bound, but a few years back, her health deteriorated and had become bedridden. With multiple sicknesses like liver problems, diabetes, and being unable to walk, she👩‍🦰 had difficulty working full-time and had to quit to take care of her late mother.

Besides financial aid from the social welfare for her late mother, she tries to earn extra income by doing part-time job in the village, cleaning and taking care of the elderly. Most of her time is spent on taking care of her late mother and her little boy. After her mother’s passing, the social welfare aid also ended. Now, she is in a dilemma, needing more finance but at the same time, putting his son’s welfare first🫶.

She is planning to apply for the social welfare again, being a single mother herself. Hope Place is continuing the support which the Hope Place gave to her late mother, now, to her and her son. Hope Place is also supplying milk powder to the little boy with milk powder📦💕🥫.

希望之家持续援助单亲妈妈与年幼的孩子

自 2019 年起，古晋希望之家便一直援助一名居住在 Kampung Sinjan, Petrajaya 的士女。该名士女前患有多种疾病且长期卧床🛌，与女儿同住。遗憾的是，这名士女已于今年 4 月离世，留下女儿独自抚养年幼的儿子。

已故的女士生前原本需依靠轮椅代步，但几年前健康状况恶化，最终卧床不起。由于母亲患有肝病、糖尿病且无法行走，女儿👩‍🦰难以兼顾全职工作，被迫辞职以全心照顾生母。

除了领取社会福利局为母亲提供的援助金，这位女儿还尝试在村里做兼职工作赚取额外收入，如帮人打扫卫生和照顾失能老人。然而，她大部分的时间都花在了照顾病母和年幼的孩子身上。随着母亲去世，相关的社会福利援助也随之终止🫶。

她向希望之家倾诉道，尽管她渴望寻找一份收入更稳定的工作以改善生计，但由于孩子尚且年幼且无人帮忙照看，她目前正陷入两难境地：既迫切需要增加经济来源，又必须优先考量孩子的福祉与照顾。

作为一名单亲妈妈，她正计划再次向社会福利局申请援助。而希望之家也决定延续此前对其母亲的关怀，将援助转至她们母子身上。目前，希望之家正定期为这名小男孩供应儿童奶粉📦💕🥫。
