To those who made the journey from Penang, the artists who poured their souls into their craft, the chefs, and every single one of you who walked through our doors, you didn't just 'attend' an event. You brought the walls of Cocoon to life. You shared your energy, your laughter, and your stories with us, and that’s something we don't take lightly.

Cocoon was always a dream about connection, but seeing it happen in real-time is something else entirely.

We are so deeply grateful to everyone, seen and unseen, who breathed life into this idea.

When we first imagined , we knew a beautiful space alone wasn’t enough. It had to be a place to gather, to remember, and to let creativity flourish.

This time, we looked beyond our shores - from Penang, Malaysia’s culinary capital, back to our own beautiful Kuching.

The collaboration with .pg and Backdoor Bodega was an instant meeting of minds, joined by artists and everyone who showed up and shared the moment with us.

Cocoon is crafted to last - in memory, in moments, in meaning. And we will continue moving forward with this in mind: celebrating locals, and celebrating great minds.

For this round, we’re keeping things creative with Nep! Penang, presenting a 9-course tasting menu. Crafted by Chia Ye and Yee Ming, the menu is a reflection of what they know, what they love, and what inspires them. This time, they’re bringing those flavours here, thoughtfully weaving in fresh, local ingredients sourced from Kuching’s own markets.

This takeover night sits somewhere between intimate, exciting, and full of quiet surprises.
