Around 30 National Officers flew to Labuan last weekend for the NBoDs meeting. This is to align with one of the National President initiative to connect with smaller local chapters and build friendship with the members. National team was very supportive and engaging during the games session. This was also our first GMM organised by our 1 year old new member in such scale. Kudos to the members taking on the challenge and making a breakthrough. We appreciate the efforts of everyone involved!

Morning briefing session with the Labuan International School (LIS) Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) teams to understand more about the competition and to explore collaboration opportunities. CBL is their flagship programme that encourages creativity and innovation among youths. More importantly, the teams innovate responsibly by incorporating the environmental and social aspects. This is where the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) play an integral role. This programme aligns well with JCI Malaysia’s commitment to championing the SDGs and delivering impactful, sustainable projects. Looking forward to it!

We have completed the annual Joint Board of Directors Meeting, just in time before the public holidays. It was a fruitful one where everyone voiced their ideas and suggestions for upcoming events. We also established KPIs for the 2026 BODs to achieve. 2025 has been good! Here’s to moving upwards and onwards in 2026!
