SEAMEO SEN & Canva: Creativity in Education Award 2026

No learner should be left behind regardless of ability, gender, or background. 🌏 Together, we can make that vision a reality.

This regional capacity-building initiative, organized by SEAMEO SEN in collaboration with SEAMEO Secretariat and UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok, brings together education leaders, policymakers, practitioners, partners, and young people from across Southeast Asia to advance disability-inclusive education, teacher capacity and learner well-being.
When we dialogue, collaborate, share knowledge, and act collectively, we create stronger education systems and better outcomes for every learner. Let’s break the silence around sexuality education for learners with disabilities.

SEAMEO SEN recently had a courtesy visit to the SEAMEO Secretariat and our sister centers in Bangkok, SEAMEO STEM-ED, SEAMEO SEPS, and SEAMEO SPAFA! This strategic visit reinforced our shared commitment to regional educational excellence, culture, and sustainable development, while aligning our goals for teacher capacity-building activities across Southeast Asia.

A major highlight was the invaluable sharing of institutional best practices. The team exchanged insights on fostering inclusive classrooms, while gaining inspiration on gender initiatives, school and community programmes, as well as cultural heritage initiatives.

The visit also sparked exciting discussions on inter-centre collaborations, blending inclusive education with holistic, multi-disciplinary programmes. Let’s work towards preparing a more inclusive and accessible learning environment!
