Developer Property Deal

BREAKING NEWS ::: Last year Sept 2025, Sunway Group acquired MCL Land, Hong Kong Land's Singaporean and Malaysian residential development arm, for S$738.7 million (around RM2.4 billion) marking Sunway's largest deal ever yet and today we hit by another major news.

Sunway Bhd is proposing a cash-and-share acquisition of rival IJM Corporation Bhd, valuing the deal at more than RM11 billion.

Under the proposed terms, IJM shareholders would receive RM315 in cash and 501 Sunway shares for every 1,000 IJM shares held. If completed, the merged group would emerge as a major industry heavyweight, rivaling Gamuda Bhd as Malaysia’s largest construction company by revenue.
