In the name of Allah most Beneficial most Merciful

The days of Tashreeq (the 11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah) are the three days immediately following Eid al-Adha. The Prophet (ﷺ) specifically designated them as times of celebration, eating, drinking n remembering Allah.

1. Sahih Muslim: 1121a The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: أَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْب‏
"The days of Tashreeq are the days of eating and drinking

2 . Sunan al-Tirmidhi 773:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَيَوْمُ النَّحْرِ وَأَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ عِيدُنَا أَهْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ وَهِيَ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ
"The Day of Arafat, the Day of Sacrifice, and the three following days of al-Tashriq are our celebrations for the people of Islam. They are days of eating and drinking.

"Key Rulings for these Days:
1. Fasting is Prohibited: Because they are days of feasting and celebration, it is forbidden to fast during the days of Tashreeq. The only exception is for pilgrims performing Hajj Tamattu' or Qiran who cannot afford to offer the sacrificial animal (Hady).

2. Dhikr (Remembrance): Along with eating and drinking, Muslims are encouraged to increase their remembrance of Allah. This includes reciting the Takbīrat al-Tashrīq after every obligatory (Fard) prayer.
